PRE OR LUSITANO?
Two closely related Iberian breeds, yet often very different in the qualities they naturally bring to sport.
The PRE can offer extraordinary character, elegance and rideability, while the Lusitano has made remarkable progress as a modern sport horse, particularly in its strength and carrying ability from behind.
Neither breed is simply “better”. Each has qualities we value, characteristics breeders should continue to improve, and bloodlines capable of producing exceptional horses.
As breeders of both, that contrast is exactly what fascinates us.

From the first conversation, everything felt clear and personal. We found a horse that truly suited what I was looking for, both in character and riding level.
Buying a horse internationally can feel complicated, but the communication was excellent throughout the entire process. I received all the information, videos and support I needed to feel confident in my decision.

Ik kwam juglar tegen op ehorses en had hierop gereageerd en Xavier nam contact op via whatsapp . We hadden video’s en foto’s gedeeld en toen heb ik om zijn xray foto’s gevraagd . Deze heeft hij direct voor mij geregeld en ik mocht live mee kijken. Daarna heb ik alles laten na controleren door mijn eigen dierenarts en nadat alles in orde was ben ik meteen weekend daarna naar Madrid gevlogen om juglar in het echt te bewonderen! We zijn super goed ontvangen en het waren 2 fantastische dagen, alles voelde fijn en ik was helemaal verliefd op mijn juglar! Eindelijk na 3 weken kon hij op transport en is hij in 3 dagen met de vrachtwagen veilig naar ons thuis gebracht ! Alles was goed gegaan! Ik heb echt mijn droompaard gevonden en hij doet het super goed in Nederland . Dankjewel voor alles!

We kept close in touch throughout the whole process, all questions and wishes were addressed with patience and elaborateness, so buying the horse from a distance never felt off or insecure. For my horse to be able to come to Germany, it was necessary to have him castrated and here as well, the support was marvelous from organizing the procedure to taking care of my horse afterwards and letting him stay for as long as he needed to recover and being ready to travel. My horse isn’t just beautiful on the outside - he also has a character of gold. Kind, well-behaved, intelligent, curious, careful… everything I could ever ask for. My experience with EquiDelux was solely positive throughout the whole time and you can notice these people deeply care for their horses before, while, and after selling them and carefully select their new home. If I were to look for another horse to buy, I’d definitely take one of theirs again.
