Despadas Habanero is a very special horse who was bred and raised here on our farm, allowing us to know his character and development from the very beginning.

He is APTO as a breeding stallion and has already been used successfully for breeding during previous seasons. Now, a new chapter has started for him: Habanero has begun his ridden education and is currently being carefully backed, learning to accept the rider and discovering his work under saddle step by step.

What stands out most about him is his intelligence. He understands new exercises remarkably quickly, and once he has understood what is being asked of him, he performs it with increasing confidence and self-assurance. He is curious, attentive and naturally willing to learn, which makes his development especially enjoyable to follow.

Habanero also has an exceptionally rare and striking coat colour: Isabelo Castaño, a warm golden shade that gives him an almost metallic appearance in the light. Genetically, he carries two copies of the Pearl gene (PRL/PRL) on a bay base, creating this distinctive golden colour.

With his unusual genetics, breeding approval, experience as a stallion and promising start under saddle, Habanero offers an interesting combination for someone looking for a horse with individuality, intelligence and future potential.

He is a horse who has been given time to mature, and we are now enjoying watching him confidently take his first steps into his ridden career.
